Vesikaa Community Guidelines
Vesikaa is operated by Vesikaa LLC, a California limited liability company. Vesikaa is a place for reflective, respectful community interaction. These Community Guidelines apply anywhere people can create or share content through Vesikaa, including Soul Spheres, shared readings, comments, chat, replies, reactions, GIFs, profile fields, group names, and future community spaces. They apply even when a group is private or small.
These Guidelines govern all community participation, existing community data, and every safety, deletion, appeal, and moderation workflow. Vesikaa may suspend or limit community features through a server-authoritative control for safety, security, legal, or operational reasons; safety actions such as reporting, blocking, leaving a group, and deleting your own content remain available while sharing is suspended.
You must be at least 13 years old by default, or at least 16 years old when using the Australian App Store or Google Play storefront, and meet any higher age or guardian-consent requirement that applies where you live to create or share content in community features. Before participating, you must complete the platform age-range check and accept the current Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Vesikaa records the policy version, derived minimum-age tier, age-assurance method, and acceptance time. Apple and Google Play share an age range rather than your birthday, and the store country used to select the tier is not retained in the acceptance. On an unsupported device, Vesikaa asks you to confirm the applicable threshold without collecting your birthday.
Be Respectful
- Speak to people with care. Disagreement is allowed; harassment, bullying, humiliation, stalking, dogpiling, and targeted abuse are not.
- Do not threaten, encourage violence, celebrate real-world harm, or encourage another person to hurt themselves.
- Do not attack or exclude people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or another protected characteristic.
- Do not use tarot, spirituality, or another belief system to coerce, frighten, exploit, diagnose, or control another person.
Keep People Safe
Vesikaa has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Do not create, request, distribute, promote, or facilitate child sexual abuse material; sexualize minors; groom or solicit minors; arrange unsafe contact with a minor; or otherwise exploit a child. We may preserve and report apparent child sexual abuse material or exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or another appropriate authority as required by law.
Do not post or facilitate:
- Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, sexual coercion, trafficking, or predatory behavior.
- Credible threats, instructions to commit violent wrongdoing, or content intended to facilitate imminent harm.
- Content that promotes, instructs, or encourages suicide, self-harm, or eating-disorder behavior. Supportive discussion and recovery-oriented conversation are allowed, but Vesikaa is not an emergency service.
- Personal or confidential information shared without permission, including addresses, financial details, account credentials, or identifying information intended to expose or endanger someone.
- Dangerous fraud, scams, phishing, malware, illegal sales, or coordinated manipulation.
If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Reporting in Vesikaa is not a substitute for emergency help.
Be Authentic and Respect Rights
- Do not impersonate another person or organization, use deceptive identities to manipulate people, or falsely claim authority or credentials.
- Do not spam, use abusive automation, evade enforcement, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
- Share only content you have the right to share. Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, and other legal rights.
- Do not manipulate engagement, reports, reactions, or group membership through coordinated abuse.
Reports, Blocks, and Enforcement
You can report a message or comment from its action menu, choose a specific reason, add context, and report both the content and its author. Reports include a limited snapshot so moderators can review content even if it is later edited or deleted. We target standard reports for review within 24 hours and prioritize credible threats, child-safety concerns, and other urgent risks sooner. This review target is an operational goal, not an emergency-response guarantee.
You can block another member from the same action menu. A block is global across Vesikaa community surfaces: it hides that person's community content for you, hides reply previews that could expose it, prevents new direct mentions, replies, reactions, and one-to-one shared interactions in either direction, and suppresses direct social notifications. You can review and reverse your blocks from the in-context blocked-members control. The blocked person is not told who blocked them.
Depending on severity, context, history, and risk, Vesikaa may remove or redact content; restrict posting; freeze or close a group; warn, restrict, suspend, or ban an account; preserve evidence; or contact relevant authorities. Serious violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning. Attempts to evade restrictions may lead to stronger enforcement.
Automated screening helps stop a narrow set of high-confidence threats, self-harm encouragement, and child-exploitation language before posting. It does not replace user reports or human review and may not understand every context.
Appeals and Contact
If you believe a moderation action was mistaken, contact support@vesikaa.com from the email associated with your account and include any report or case identifier shown to you. Do not include illegal imagery or repeat harmful content in the email. We will review available context and respond when appropriate.
For child-safety concerns, threats, exploitation, harassment, or another urgent community-safety issue, use the in-app report flow first when it is safe to do so, then contact support@vesikaa.com with the subject “Community safety.” For privacy requests, contact privacy@vesikaa.com.
These Guidelines are incorporated into the Vesikaa Terms of Service. We may update them as community features evolve. Material updates require acceptance of the new version before you can create or share more community content.
